Traditional Rugs:
Traditional rugs have small ornate details that make them appealing to the eye. Traditional rugs are increasingly being paired with modern decor. They pair nicely together; the traditional rug becomes the anchor of the room. It pulls everything together while adding texture and character to the room.
Modern Rugs:
While traditional rugs act as an anchor, tying the room together, modern rugs are meant to stand out; they do not blend in with the rest of the room. Modern rugs compliment the decor of the room; however, they act as the statement piece of the room. As opposed to traditional rugs, modern rugs have less small, ornate details and focus more on larger shapes and patterns.
